According to CNN, the arrest warrant being served was related to felony drug charges, but no drugs or weapons were found in Brown’s car or home.
Seven deputies with the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office were placed on leave, CBS reported.
A city proclamation requires a formal request for body camera footage to be released to the public.
Brown’s family expected to see the footage on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. EST, but they were still waiting by noon.
Their attorney Bakari Sellers and Ben Crump organized a press conference and announced that they were notified that police needed to redact something from the video and it would be late.
