A former University of Las Vegas basketball player has accused singer Trey Songz of rape, PEOPLE reported.
Dylan Gonzalez took to Twitter on Tuesday and accused the R&B crooner, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, of raping her.
“With what seems like endlessly reoccurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well-known Las Vegas hotel,” she wrote.
She added, “I want to send my love, strength, and hope to all who are victims of sexual assault and its fatal nature. You are not alone.”
Gonzalez did not reveal when the alleged rape happened, but in November 2020 Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told the magazine it had “a report of a sexual assault incident alleged to have occurred at a hotel in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.”

Her attorneys, George Vrabek and Ariel Mitchell, told PEOPLE that her allegations and the November incident are separate.
In August 2020, a woman accused Songz of peeing on her without her consent during a consensual sexual encounter, PEOPLE reported.
Additionally, actress Keke Palmer accused the singer of using “sexual intimidation” to get her to appear in the music video for “Pick Up the Phone,” in 2017.
“This is preposterous. How am I in this video Trey? After you found me in a closet HIDING because I was so afraid of any more conflict,” Palmer wrote on Instagram at the time.
“Literally my last option was to hide because you all would not listen when I said I did not want to be in the video the FIRST time. Just cause you give someone food and alcohol and throw in a little sexual intimidation doesn’t mean they will buckle.”
Songz seemingly denied the claim, saying, “So sorry for those that believe everything without knowing anything. However, I cannot devote my life to responding to, or clearing up every side of every story you hear about me, when would I actually live? I know my character, I know my truth, I know my heart. God does too.”
In January 2021, Songz was arrested but ultimately not charged after he got into a fight at a Kansas City Chiefs home playoff game, TMZ reported.
As for Gonzalez, her legal team said they’re in the process of taking legal action against the “Gotta Go” singer.
