Democrat Shontel Brown Wins Ohio House Seat in Special Election

Democrat Shontel Brown won Ohio’s 11th District special election on Tuesday, according to Decision Desk HQ and CNN.   

Brown ran to replace Marcia Fudge, who stepped down from Congress to serve as President Joe Biden’s Housing and Urban Development secretary.   

Ohio’s 11th District covers the majority of Cleveland and Akron, per reports. It is seen as a reliable Democratic stronghold.
