The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll, not just in America but throughout the world. There has been a rise in cases because of COVID’s most infectious variant, Delta. Also, it’s been a struggle to give unvaccinated people the shot because of a multitude of reasons, such as misinformation, vaccine hesitancy and medical reasons.

As a result of the increase in cases, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reinstated its mask mandate to suggest that vaccinated and unvaccinated people wear masks indoors.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the nation’s top medical experts and a member of President Joe Biden’s COVID Task Force, joined Kelly Wright on “The World Tonight” in a one-on-one interview. He said that the new infections are avoidable if people get the vaccine.
