ESPN fires former NBA player Paul Pierce after video of wild party goes viral

Former NBA star Paul Pierce and ESPN have parted ways days after he went live on Instagram at a wild party, which went viral, according to multiple reports.

On Friday, Paul went live on the social networking site where he was in a room with dancers, smoking, drinking and playing poker with friends, Yahoo Sports reported.

Paul, who won an NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008, worked for ESPN as an analyst since he retired from the league after the 2016-17 season.

He’s appeared on ESPN shows such as NBA Countdown and The Jump, per reports.

The 10-time NBA All-Star posted a video of himself laughing on Twitter Saturday, with a caption that read, “Big things coming soon stay tuned make sure u smile.”
