Father, son share emotional moment during Marine Corps ceremony

An emotional moment between U.S. Marine Corps Master Sergeant Michael Fisher and his son has gone viral. 

The video, posted on TikTok, shows Fisher saluting his son for the first time after becoming a second lieutenant, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. 

It has been viewed more than one million times.

Fisher joined Start Your Day with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss the emotional moment. 

He said he tries to make each officer’s first salute personal to them, but the moment was emotional for him as he reflected on his son’s journey to get there.
