Janet Jackson Shares Documentary Trailer

“This is my story, told by me, not through someone else’s eyes,” Jackson says in the trailer. “This is the truth. Take it or leave it, love it or hate it: this is me.” 

The official trailer of the Janet Jackson documentary has been released. The upcoming documentary will give her supporters an inside look into her life and work. The film will include exclusive interviews, never before seen footage throughout her career, and heartfelt contributions from family and peers.  

Music icons like Mariah Carey and Missy Elliot will be making an appearance in the film. According to Entertainment Weekly, Elliot praises Jackson for her dominance in the music industry in the film. Next year will mark 40 years for Jackson’s career as a solo recording artist. She has created many unforgettable albums like Control and All for You. 

The documentary will be releasing sometime next year through Lifetime and A&E.
