Man arrested outside Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence

Police in Washington D.C. say they arrested a man outside of Vice President Kamala Harris’s home on Wednesday.

According to police, 31-year-old Paul Murray was found outside of the Naval Observatory where Vice President Harris resides. They found a rifle and a large capacity clip in his car parked in downtown Washington.

Murray was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a rifle or shotgun outside of a business, possession of unregistered ammunition and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, according to FOX 5.

Police said they arrested Murray in response to an intelligence bulletin from Texas.

A witness who spoke to CNBC said he saw the arrest while passing on a scooter and he posted the video on YouTube

Vice President Harris was not at the Naval Observatory, and the building is currently unoccupied for renovations. She currently resides at the Blair House.
