Marc Lamont Hill discusses Black-Palestinian Solidarity

Marc Lamont Hill sits down with Noura Erakat, human rights attorney and associate professor at Rutgers University & Aja Monet, poet and organizer and artistic director for V-Day, on the escalating conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

Hundreds have been injured in violence in recent days. Hill, Monet and Erakat also discuss why it’s important for Black people to pay attention to the conflict and Black-Palestinian solidarity.

“Our struggle for liberation and freedom has to be connected,” Monet says. “We have to see where do our struggles overlap.”
