Families can expect to get MacBook Air laptops, Amazon Fire HD tablets, bikes, helmets, video game gift cards, board games, winter coats, dolls, playsets, playing cards and gift cards. However, the giveaway will be operating on a first come, first serve model.
Meek Mill’s philanthropic endeavors don’t stop at the giveaway—he is also contributing an additional donation of $30,000 to the Philadelphia chapter of Twelve Days of Christmas, a charity that helps families during the holiday season.
“It’s been a tough year for all of us, but through all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly community that raised me,” Meek Mill said. “I remember not having much growing up, so it’s important to use my platform to give back, especially to the families trying to provide for their kids while also dealing with the criminal justice system.”
He dropped his fifth studio album Expensive Pain on Oct. 1 and he continues to work on the criminal justice system in America through his REFORM Alliance organization.
