Megan Thee Stallion Gets Popeyes Franchise & Hottie Sauce Deal

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has teamed up with Popeyes to create a new hot sauce to debut nationwide on October 19 as well as merchandise. The rapper is also the company’s latest franchisee.

Multiplatinum rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Popeyes have teamed up to debut a new hot sauce later this month, Billboard reported.

Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce will be released on Oct. 19 and will be available all throughout the U.S. and 14 other countries across the globe. 

In addition to the new hot sauce, the rapper will have merchandise, such as bikinis, long sleeve shirts, hats, tumblers and a Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toy, according to Billboard. 

The fast-food chain also announced that the “Body” rapper is its newest franchisee. The new partnerships will also make a six-figure donation to Houston Acts of Kindness, a charity that promotes empathy and compassion while encouraging selfless concern for the welfare of others in the Houston community.  

“I’m appreciative of Popeyes commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes Restaurants,” Megan Thee Stallion said in a statement. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur. I’ve always been a fan of the Popeyes brand and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join the brand and help create the new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce for their line-up.” 

Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce is infused with a sweet yet bold flavor with a hint of spice and was inspired by the rapper’s personality.
