Megan Thee Stallion has signed an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix, which will allow her to produce television shows and other projects, per Deadline.

It’s a move Netflix is “SO excited” to be making, praising Megan as a Grammy Award-winning musician, philanthropist, college graduate and entrepreneur.

Megan echoes their sentiments, saying in a statement she’s looking forward to the next stage in her career and producing some real hot girl content. 

“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” Megan said in a statement. “Venturing into production is the next step Is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.” 

Although it’s unclear what genre the “Girls In The Hood” rapper will be pursuing, a statement from Netflix’s head of comedy Tracey Pakosta seems to be a subtle hint. 

“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey,” said Pakosta, per Rolling Stone

The rapper is no stranger to television, according to Deadline, having previously appeared as a judge on HBO Max’s reality competition series Legendary and in guest parts on NBC’s Good Girls and Sarah Cooper’s Netflix comedy special.

From winning her first Grammy Award to partnering with multiple companies and graduating from Texas Southern University with a health administration degree, Megan has been booked and busy throughout 2021—and her Netflix deal is a clear indicator she isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
