Multiple People Injured After Pedestrian Bridge Collapses in Washington DC

Authorities in Northeast Washington D.C. say at least three people have been hurt after a pedestrian bridge collapsed Wednesday afternoon.

According to FOX 5 DC, the collapse took place near Kenilworth Avenue and Polk Street, about eight miles from the White House.

Emergency responders say three people suffered minor injuries and they stayed on the scene to check on the cars under the collapsed section of the bridge.
