This is another situation related to the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff were just elected as Democratic senators from the state of Georgia after winning their run-offs against Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue respectively, as the Democrats took control of the U.S. Senate.

However, it became clear that not everyone was proud of the election results. A man from New York City named Eduard Florea took it to another level by posting threatening messages on Parler, a social networking website, under his account name, “LoneWolfWar.”
According to a filing by the Eastern District of New York, he posted things like, “Warnok is going to have a hard time casting votes for communist policies when he’s swinging for the (expletive) fish,” “Dead man can’t pass (expletive) laws,” and “I don’t know why we keep advocating to fight fair with these (expletive)…we need to take them out…one by one…” on January 5 and 6.
As a result, the FBI took action on January 12 and went into Florea’s residence in Queens, New York, and found around 1,000 rounds of ammunition, according to the filing.
He decided to plead guilty for the online threats and possessing ammunition illegally. He could face up to 15 years behind bars with his sentence schedule date on November 29, according to a CNN report.
