‘Night Court’ Actor Charlie Robinson Dies at 75

Actor Charlie Robinson, best known for his role as Mac in the sitcom Night Court died on Sunday from cardiac arrest and cancer in Los Angeles, Variety reported. He was 75.

The Houston native’s career spanned 50 years, where he appeared in movies and television series such as Set It Off, Antwone Fisher, NCIS andThis is Us.  

Robinson began his acting career in the theater, having starred in The Whipping Man and Fences. He’s won an Ovation Award and an Image Theatre Award, according to Variety.

He is survived by his wife Dolorita Noonan-Robinson, his kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, according to The New York Post.
