Reggie Warren, an original member of the R&B group TROOP, died on Sunday at the age of 52, according to TMZ.
A representative said the singer had been battling health issues and the hospital released him to be with his family in his last moments.
An official cause of death has not been disclosed.
TROOP stands for “Total Respect of Other People” and the group was formed in the 1980s by Warren, Rodney Benford, John Harreld, Steve Russel and Allen McNeil.

Although the official cause of death is still unknown, Warren’s family said it is not COVID-related.
