The coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on American citizens. The increase in cases is in large part because of the dangerous delta variant.

What is making the situation more serious is that 80 million adults in this country still haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine. As a result, it is leading to more hospitalizations and deaths not only for adults but for kids as well.
President Joe Biden unveiled a new six-part plan in a press conference that would fight against COVID-19 and help everyone return to normal life.

In the plan, the steps included are to vaccinate the unvaccinated, further protect the unvaccinated, keep schools safely open, increase testing and mask requirements, protect economic recovery and improve the care for people with COVID-19.
Since Biden has been in office, at least 175 million Americans have been fully vaccinated as a result of his policies. Biden also called out state governors and elected officials who have undermined these life-saving actions.

Look, we’re the United States of America, there’s not a single thing we’re unable to do if we do it together. So let’s do it together,” said President Biden.
He later added a final impacting message: “Get vaccinated.”
