Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Discusses Congressional Hearing on Tulsa Massacre

Charles Blow sat down with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee D-TX) to talk about the congressional hearing on the Tulsa Massacre.

“Here we were in 2021 when we were listening to descendants…they were remaining with the voices of poverty and unashamed that their opportunities were extinguished on that day in 1921. The government, the state of Oklahoma, the city of Tulsa has never acknowledged or provided repair or reparations,” Lee said.

Blow also chimed in on the GOP’s efforts to squash legislation that would examine the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
