Rapper Romeo Miller said last week that he wants to do a Verzuz battle with Bow Wow, prompting a fierce debate online on who would win.

Miller, who went by Lil Romeo and is Master P’s son, appeared on Fox Soul’s The Mix when he said that he would be open to going one on one with the Like Mike star.

“You know, I gotta say, I love this and y’all’s Verzuz,” Miller said. “Imma put this out there: if Bow Wow do a Gotdamn battle and it’s not with me, don’t do it. I’m just saying, so if Bow do a battle, I’m open for it.”

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, jumped on Twitter on Saturday and addressed competing with Miller in a Verzuz.

Social media users chimed in, giving the edge to Bow Wow. Kazeem Famuyide, co-host of the Say Less podcast, joined Black News Tonight with Marc Lamont Hill and said that Bow Wow would be victorious.

“If we’re talking song by song, you’re kind of lowballing Bow Wow by giving him a guy like Lil Romeo,” Famuyide said. “There was one time he was absolutely the biggest rap star on the planet.”
