Sha’Carri Richardson in New Beats by Dre Ad Featuring Kanye West’s New Song

U.S. sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson is the new star of a Beats by Dre commercial, which features a new song off of Kanye West’s upcoming album Donda.

The ad comes after Richardson’s month-long suspension from USA Track & Field after she failed a drug test for smoking marijuana. This resulted in her missing the Tokyo Olympics, where she was expected to race in the women’s 100-meter.

According to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, Cannabis, marijuana and hashish are substances banned in competition.

Richardson accepted responsibility for her actions on TODAY and said she will take the time to work on healing. “If I’m allowed to receive that blessing, then I’m grateful for it, but if not right now, I’m just going to focus on myself,” she said.
