Ten people, including Boulder police officer, killed in shooting at Colorado grocery store

At least ten people have died in a mass shooting on Monday at a supermarket in Colorado including a police officer, multiple outlets reported.
Boulder Police say there are multiple fatalities in Boulder, including a police officer.

Law enforcement took a man into custody and he was treated for his injuries.
Police: No ongoing public threat. Person of interest in custody. He was injured and is being treated for his injury.

According to police, ten people were killed including Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley.
Chief: Our hearts go out to all families impacted. There are 10 fatalities. She identified slain Police Officer Eric Talley, who was one of the first on the scene. She calls officer’s actions “heroic.”

Police in Colorado have responded to an “active shooter” at King Soopers grocery store in Boulder on Monday, according to reports.

Officers told ABC News that they responded to reports that someone was shot in the parking lot and fired upon by a suspect when they arrived at the scene.

Governor Jared Polis tweeted about the shooting calling it a “tragedy.”
