The Black News Channel Announces its Election Night Coverage Schedule
Tallahassee, Florida – November 2, 2020 – The Black News Channel (BNC), the nation’s only culturally specific news network that reflects the Black community’s diverse viewpoints, announced plans for its coverage of the November 3, 2020 General Election.
As a part of its MyVote 2020 campaign coverage, BNC and its team of award-winning journalists have provided extensive reporting on the Democratic and Republican Conventions, the Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates, and other national campaign events, all with a focus on their impact on the Black community. And as the national contest between President Donald J. Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden winds to a close, BNC will provide up to date election results for the Presidential race and beyond.
“In a year when so many events have had a disproportionately negative impact on the Black community, it’s no surprise that both sides of the aisle are clamoring to engage Black voters,” said BNC President/CEO Princell Hair.” It’s critical that we in the African American media provide factual reporting on the Electoral College along with House and Senate race results, and other key races that are important to our neighborhoods, cities and states.”
While the presidential election is at the forefront of national attention, control of the U.S. Senate is not far behind. BNC will monitor and report on results in the key electoral battleground states: Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. BNC will also focus on the U.S. Senate races in Alabama, Georgia, Maine, North Carolina, and South Carolina; and have live reports from around the country.
Election Night coverage on the Black News Channel begins at 7:00 p.m. EST click here.
