The View is a talk show that discusses hot and debating topics having to do with politics and entertainment. Recently, they began their 25th season with hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sarah Haines, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro.

There was controversy during The View’s 14th episode on Sept. 24. Hostin and Navarro had to leave the stage after it was revealed that they tested positive for the coronavirus.

“No matter how hard we try, these things happen. They probably have a breakthrough case and they’ll be okay,” Behar said

The show went on with their interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, remotely, on issues like the Haitian migrant crisis.

According to The Independent, Hostin and Navarro received false positive tests. Later on, Navarro revealed that she received a negative PCR test.

“We took the rapid antigen test and we took the PCR. Both have come back false positive for me,” she said to Anderson Cooper on CNN. Navarro didn’t reveal her co-host’s test results out of privacy.

Both she and Hostin are fully vaccinated.

Hostin knew the impact of the deadly virus because her mother-in-law and father-in-law passed away from the coronavirus and her husband, Emmanuel Hostin, is an orthopedic surgeon.

“I was relieved to find out that I was COVID negative, and I always was assured by the fact that I am fully vaccinated. Even if I were COVID positive, I was convinced that I would likely be okay,” Hostin said on The View today.
