Tiger Woods Seen Walking for First Time Since Car Accident

In Summary

Legendary golfer Tiger Woods was seen walking without his crutches after a car crash from earlier this year and credits his children for his recovery.

Tiger Woods is seemingly on the mend after photos showed the legendary golfer walking without crutches months after a car crash.

The sports icon was watching his son Charlie play golf for the first time, according to The Shadow League.

In February, Woods crashed his car in Southern California, sustaining major and multiple injuries to his legs, his agent Mark Steinberg said at the time. He was not under the influence or charged with any crime.

Sources told PEOPLE that Woods credited his family in his recovery. He has two children, Sam Woods and Charlie Woods, with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren.

“Being a dad has helped him stay focused on his recovery,” according to the source for PEOPLE. “At times, it’s been very difficult for him both physically and mentally. His leg injuries caused him extreme pain. He is a fighter and has been determined to get better though.”

There is no information on if Woods will return to the sport that made him a household name. According to ESPN, the golfer had been quoted about his possible return.
