Astroworld organizers are providing full refunds to all ticketholders of Friday’s show and to those who planned to attend Saturday’s show before it was canceled, CNN reported.
“I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival,” Scott tweeted on Saturday.
Festivalgoers described mayhem at the event, which saw people passing out and getting trampled on.
“We were all screaming for help, and no one helped or heard us. It was horrifying. People were screaming for their lives, and they couldn’t get out. Nobody could move a muscle,” TK Tellez told CNN.
