“Stacey, would you like to take his place? It’s OK with me. Of course, having her, I think, might be better than having your existing governor, if you want to know what I think. Might very well be better, he said.
While at the campaign appearance Trump made several disparaging remarks against Kemp and Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, about the lack of effort to overturn the 2020 election results because of their fear of Abrams who had formed a voting rights and accessibility group after her loss to Kemp in Georgia’s 2018 gubernatorial race.

“Your state leaders surrendered to Stacey Abrams and allowed themselves to be bullied into a disastrous consent decree that effectively abolished signature verification and paved the way for massive fraud,” Trump said. “And they don’t want to do anything about it. They don’t.”
Trump’s newfound support might have some Americans confused about his position but what needs to be understood is that Trump is at war with numerous members of the Republican party.
Sources told CNN that Trump is focused on bringing down people in the Republican party he believes were disloyal and allowed him to lose the 2020 presidential election.
Trump will soon have more trouble on his hands after he and some of his allies face charges for attempting to overturn Georgia’s election results to win the state back from President Joe Biden. A spokesman for Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution last week that the investigation is “active and ongoing” but declined to reveal any details.
