Rapper Tyga turned himself in Tuesday after his ex-girlfriend made social media posts alleging domestic violence. According to booking records, Tyga, whose real name is Michael Stevenson, was being held on a $50,000 bail and was released Tuesday.

“The allegations you have been reading about our client the past few days are false and will be disproven,” Tyga’s spokesperson said in a statement to NBC News.

His ex-girlfriend, Camaryn Swanson, appeared at his home “belligerent” and reported on her Instagram story saying she did not show up yelling but was invited over to his home, TMZ reported.

Swanson posted photos and videos on social media of the alleged domestic violence. “I’ve been emotionally, mentally, and physically abused and I’m not hiding it anymore,” she wrote.

After making several posts about the alleged events between her and Tyga, her followers have been sending love and encouraging words.

“The outstanding amount of love and support that I’ve received from so many of you has helped me so much,” she wrote. “I see you guys and I thank you guys.”
