Frazier made the announcement on Tuesday night, saying, “I honestly can’t believe I’m making this post right now. I’m so hurt…nothing feels real.”
According to CBS Minnesota, at around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, an officer was chasing a carjacking and robbery suspect when the police car crashed into other cars. Leneal Frazier, a father of five, was killed, and the driver of another car was treated at a local hospital. The suspect police were after was not caught.

Leneal Frazier’s sister Cheryl Frazier says their family is still unsure what exactly happened. “He was a very good person, he would help you if you needed help, he’ll give you the shirt off his back if he had to,” she said. “He was always that type of person.”
The state patrol has not commented on the investigation, and the Minneapolis Police Department has not announced if footage of the crash is available.
A GoFundMe for Leneal has been created and has already raised more than $10,000.
