Yodit Tewolde and attorney J. Carter on Ahmaud Arbery Foundation

Yodit Tewolde speaks with J. Carter, attorney for the Ahmaud Arbery estate, on the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation, throwing a “birthday bash” and celebrating his life. Arbery was killed last February while he was out running in Brunswick, Georgia when he was allegedly chased down by three white men and fatally shot.

Carter says that one part of the virtual event is people running 2.23 miles to signify the date he was killed (2/23/2020). The trial of Gregory and Travis McMichael and William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. is set for October 18.
